The “Sicilian Cannoli”, together with the “Sicilian Cassata”, is the must famous sweet of Sicily. Originally they were consumed during the Carnival, but they have reached such a success, that Today we can find it all year. The “Cannoli” is composed from a waffle of fried dough and a filling of sheep Ricotta and finally is decorated with candied Fruit.
